The Twisted Spice Story

 

Born out of a taste for the heat and an old family recipe for a pretty good BBQ sauce...

Over the years, we have tried many different sauces trying to find one that was so good, we'd want to put it on everything we ate. Try as we might though, everything we found fell short.

If you want something done right, you do it yourself

We took it to the kitchen. Building off of our families' delicious barbecue sauce, we added citrus for a sweet tang and a pinch of ghost peppers to give it a kick. We were pleased with the results, but would anyone else like it?

"Do you sell gallon bottles?"

We enlisted our friends and family to be our taste test guinea pigs and the response was overwhelming. They ran out and shared it with their friends and family and soon we had a crowd of people asking us when they'd be able to get more sauce! We were asked about subscription services and gallon jugs. They didn't want to run out! 

 

It really is good on everything!

Our friends and family poured the sauce on anything that was edible (well, except ice cream, even we thought that might be a bit much). We found out that it tasted great on:

  • Burritos
  • Mac and Cheese
  • Chicken Sandwiches
  • Eggs
  • Cheese and crackers
  • Vegetables
  • and of course, Barbecue

Taking it up a notch

The demand was amazing, to the point that we couldn't keep up in our tiny kitchen at home. So we started a kickstarter to help us take this sauce to the next level and get it in the hands of people around the world. Everyone we know loves it and we know you will too.
